Open this time, but he says he doesn't serve coffee in the shop. Beans only place, notwithstanding the nice looking chairs. Funny way to run a business? I think he does have a parking space. I'm tempted to reduce it to two stars but I'll call it a weak three and leave the original review attempt below. Looks nice but I have to give it the three stars for not even following his own hours. Maybe a frustration reaction since I can see him inside? Guess it was a slow day and he decided to close early, but I was expecting to just get a quick cup of coffee and leave... Location is pretty far out, so it seems like he needs some parking, but I'm not seeing it.
View on GoogleA shop where you can buy coffee beans prepared by a particular, dedicated owner. They're roasted on the spot, so the aroma is indescribable. I've been able to enjoy coffee time that has become addictive. Please note that as of July 2025, they do not serve drinks on-site.
View on GoogleAs soon as I entered, I kept sneezing, and the owner asked, “Hay fever?”… He served me complimentary tea said to help relieve hay fever. Such a lovely, thoughtful gesture! Not only the coffee, but the tea was delicious too!
View on GoogleA coffee specialty shop a little over a 10-minute walk from Musashi-Seki Station on the Seibu Shinjuku Line. It serves proper coffee. I've only stopped by a few times, but it was never crowded, and I could always sit and drink coffee (perhaps selling beans is their main business?). There are only a few counter seats inside. The owner comes across as somewhat reserved, but isn't scary or anything. The restroom was clean too. Musashi-Seki Station on the Seibu Shinjuku Line is the nearest station, but please note that it's a fair distance away. Head toward Tokyo Metropolitan Shakujii High School, and you'll find the shop when you reach the main road. It's just after turning right where there's a convenience store (セブンイレブン) and a large ramen restaurant (丸源). It may feel a little intimidating to enter, but the shop is clean and bright inside.
