Pros - Free Wi-Fi - Outlets for charging mobile devices are available at some tables. - Parking lot - The food looks just like the photo on the menu. - The smoking area is well separated from the nonsmoking area. - The atmosphere is relaxing. - Good variety on the menu. Cons - The French toast is so-so - The green tea is pretty bland Overall it’s nice.
View on GoogleThis is a chain Café operated by Renoir. The interior is very nice and the part for smoker is very well separated from the rest. I went there with a small child and they immediately offered a chair for children and brought water with straw for the child too, although it was still too young. Due to the interior, breastfeeding also seems very ok and doable. The cake, hot apple pie was ok. The apples tasted a bit unnatural and the pie was very sweet. But the coffee with milk was ok.

View on GoogleCoffee shops like this really are relaxing. I visited “Miyama Coffee” in Nerima Kasugacho. Apparently it's part of the Ginza Renoir group. The atmosphere has something in common with Komeda Coffee too—the kind of relaxed place that makes you want to linger. Newspapers and magazines are available near the entrance for anyone to read. What also left an impression was the service. Once seated, each person receives a thick, cold cloth hand towel and water. That towel feels incredibly refreshing on a hot day. And when you finish your water, a staff member notices and comes to refill it. Now that self-service places are becoming more common, these small gestures actually feel very luxurious. This time I relaxed with a coffee-jelly dessert and an iced drink. Reading the newspaper, drinking coffee, and eating something sweet. Nothing flashy, but a place where you can enjoy the very act of “taking it easy at a coffee shop.” Coffee shops like this really are relaxing.
