Advance reservation required. Actual items such as teaching tools, mainly from the early modern period through the Meiji era, are on display. If you're interested in the history of early modern and modern Japanese education, I highly recommend a visit.

I was surprised that it's in a place like this, in a residential area! The building has a great atmosphere and is wonderful.

Lots of materials. The building itself is interesting too🎵 If you go with a small group, you can ask all sorts of questions, which makes it even more fun!

I visited on a Sunday afternoon, but the door wouldn't open and I couldn't get in. The exterior is very impressive and intriguing, and I wanted to see the exhibits too, so it's a shame. The exhibits seem to be education-related, so it may be a museum that requires an advance reservation or phone call
