I quite like everything on the menu!
View on GoogleThis is the place my daughter brought me to, since it's her favorite ramen!! A small shop with only counter seats!, My daughter had the niboshi ramen I had the shoyu ramen The simple, nostalgic shoyu flavor, and the chashu is delicious too~! The niboshi ramen comes with a seasoned egg too, very filling! I'm not a fan of chicken ham, though, , but light niboshi is nice too♡ Thank you for the meal😊 The cutting board and chashu were right next to the washing area, so I was nervous that foam or water might splash on them, ,
View on GoogleSunday lunchtime, 2 people waiting Waited about 15 minutes Ordered the niboshi ramen for 950 yen The soup is light and delicious. None of the bitterness typical of niboshi. Not quite enough for me, though. The noodles are straight and cooked firm. Not high-hydration noodles. Honestly, the chashu had a very strong gamey smell, so I couldn't eat all of it. The toppings were komatsuna? and chopped onion. These are unnecessary since the soup isn't rich. If anything, they seemed to get in the way of the soup's flavor. I think it's a ramen people will be divided on.
View on GoogleRich niboshi 1100 yen Chashu bowl 400 yen Three kinds of chashu, seared, with an amazing texture. The chashu bowl might be the best I've ever had. The rich niboshi is a bowl with well-balanced saltiness and no harshness. Together with the sweet-ish chashu bowl, it's the best. Considering the special rich niboshi is 1500 yen, adding the chashu bowl felt like the better deal. A shop I want to revisit,
View on GoogleAbout a 2-minute walk from the North Exit of Musashi-Seki Station. My second visit. I had the shio ramen. The taste isn't bad, but I could sense a bit of seafood harshness and chicken odor. The niboshi ramen is the one I recommend. The chashu rice is on the sweet side, and the taste is so-so. The owner is Vietnamese and trained at 「ほん田」. It may sound harsh, but compared to 「はら田」, 「有彩」, and 「夏海」 from the same lineage scattered across stations on the Keihin-Tohoku Line, it feels lacking. I'm rooting for them!
