A classy and comfortable soba and udon restaurant that specializes is just those two. Family friendly and a great place for a quick lunch alone as well. I've had curry udon, tempura soba, and egg soba and they were all delicious. The interior seems to be relatively new and is very clean and stylish. A word of warning though, they only accept cash.
View on GoogleI live nearby, so I often drop by with my son from evening to night. The soba is of course delicious, but personally, I like the motsu nikomi (stewed offal) because the flavor is well-absorbed and tasty. Also, the donburi (rice bowl) dishes are good. If available, I take the free agedama (tempura scraps) near the register~ I think this agedama is several times better than the ones you buy at the supermarket. www
View on GoogleMusashiseki Station on the Seibu Shinjuku Line, a popular local handmade soba shop. Counter seats, tables, with a total of 50 seats. 🟩 Ume Oroshi Soba (1,100 yen tax included) Cold soba enjoyed with the acidity of plum, grated daikon radish, and the aroma of shiso leaves. Yam, rolled omelet, cucumber, green onion, and bonito flakes as accents. It's refreshing for a hot summer day. By the way, today's soba is from Hokkaido.
View on GoogleThe interior is clean with slightly dim lighting and is calm. It gives the impression of being rooted in the local, relatively older clientele. The handmade, hand-cut soba is a bit thick, but the aroma is good and it goes down smoothly. The dashi broth is light with restrained soy sauce. Overall, the price is quite reasonable compared to the content. The sesame sauce soba with cute small shrimp tempura was delicious. It also seems suitable for snacking and having a little drink. The katsudon set is also recommended as it is voluminous, including soba, salad, and pickles. The katsudon sauce is not too sweet, which is my preferred taste. The pickles were very elegant and delicious. The tempura in the tendon set also contains shrimp and several types of vegetables, and the sauce is quite tasty. The service from the senior female staff who brings the food during the day is also warm and leaves a good impression.
View on GoogleSince I was a college student for about 10 years, I used to go there about once every 3 months, until half a year ago. Half a year ago, I stopped eating there because I felt the soba had a strong smell of an old man's hands. They probably didn't wash their hands when preparing it. And half a year later, I went to eat to see if I still had the potential to keep going. The tempura, the shrimp's back vein wasn't removed. When pouring tea, he grabbed the rim of the cup with five fingers from above and then poured it. And the price increase. The unit price was already high, and it went up. Well, this is an unavoidable part, but anyway, I thought today is the last day I will visit Jinsaku, which I have loved for 10 years. Thank you for the delicious food for 10 years.
