Lunch at “中華料理 ふじ” in Heiwadai. I had their No.1 dish for repeat customers, “特製スタミナみそらーめん 1000円”. The garlicky, spicy miso-based broth is packed with ingredients including ground meat, pork, egg, wood ear mushrooms, carrots, garlic chives, onions, bean sprouts, scallions, and napa cabbage. Their flavors meld together into a rich, layered taste. The curly Chinese noodles had just the right firmness and picked up the broth well—my kind of noodles. It was a punchy bowl reminiscent of the kalbi ramen you have to finish a meal at a yakiniku restaurant. The broth in particular was so moreish that I enjoyed it right to the end. Thank you for the meal!

Visited for lunch Ordered the signature fuji ramen(1000円) The seasoning was just right Mildly spicy, not too spicy, not too bland, not too strong If I could make a request, it would be nice to choose a spice level, such as 1〜10 Judging by the menu, the prices overall aren't cheap Thank you for the meal

Visited for lunch on a weekday. There's no parking, so I used a nearby hourly lot. Perhaps there are a lot of regulars, because an overwhelming number seemed to order the special stamina miso ramen. We ordered Fuji ramen and mapo men. The mapo men is unusual, and there's very little broth. The taste is average.

An ordinary, small neighborhood Chinese restaurant. I ordered the restaurant's namesake fuji ramen(1,000円). The menu said mildly spicy, so I braced myself, but it wasn't spicy at all. A little lacking in umami, perhaps. The kitchen lacked energy and the restaurant was quiet.

My first visit in 31 years, since back when it was at its previous location. The nikunasu miso set meal was so good back then that I came once a week. At lunchtime, the TV was always showing Mino Monta's “Omoikkiri TV” or “high school baseball.” The building of the record shop along the same row is still there too—so nostalgic. Today's nikunasu miso set meal has changed considerably from back then, which was a little disappointing. The meat was in tiny pieces, and the eggplant was sliced as thin as threads. Perhaps the flavor has declined a little too.... An elderly couple ran it back then; could it be because the next generation has taken over? The atmosphere is very nice. It's certainly a neighborhood Chinese restaurant loved by the locals, and I'd like to return. Thank you for the meal!
