A neighborhood Chinese restaurant in a super-prime location in Kami-Shakujii, operating since the Showa era. You are lucky if it is open!! It is usually closed. On days when it operates, it opens around 12:30. I recommend the wonton soup. A simple chicken-stock soup with 10 huge wontons packed with meat and plenty of menma for 550円 is excellent value. Compared with the ramen at the same price, it clearly has a higher ingredient-cost ratio, is filling, and takes more work, so I recommend it. The fried rice is moist with home-style seasoning and a generous portion that looks like more than 300 grams of rice, but the oil does not coat the rice very well, leaving it feeling insufficiently stir-fried. The older gentleman handles both the kitchen and service entirely on his own, so it takes more than 20 minutes to be served. It is not suited to people pressed for time or in a hurry. Just wait leisurely.

A hidden gem (right in front of the station) that is cheap and tasty The wonton noodles in particular are cheap and delicious The older gentleman runs it alone, so the food takes a little time to come out

6 counter seats, 1 table for 4, and 1 table for 2 Beer comes in medium and small bottles (Kirin Lager) Ordered beer gyoza wonton noodles A quiet older man with a slightly stooped back runs it alone. The gyoza were not sealed at the top, but had plenty of garlic chives and felt like classic neighborhood Chinese restaurant gyoza. The soy sauce would not come out either, perhaps because it was clogged, so I ate them with vinegar, chili oil, and pepper. The wonton noodles seemed a little light on noodles, but had substantial toppings, and the chashu was fall-apart tender and delicious. My rating also takes the Showa-era atmosphere into account. It is not for anyone bothered by an old appearance or years of accumulated grease, but as a gesture of support, I would really like people to give it a try when it is open.

I had Takara Soba (abura soba) and fried rice at 「宝華」 They were incredibly delicious This long-established restaurant with 50 years in business was truly wonderful ※If you have not tried it yet, please do.
