The onigiri are small and I'm happy I can choose 2 or 3. I love the corn onigiri. The ohagi is also fluffy and soft with a sweetness that has no off-flavors, it's a very natural deliciousness. I want to eat them leisurely on a quiet afternoon when the weather is nice.
View on GoogleIt's been a long time since they closed once, but they reopened before I knew it. Inside the shop, they sell ohagi, onigiri, sekihan, macaroni salad, potato salad, and other side dishes. Since they had shaved ice, I stopped by. There is no eat-in space, but there is one table with a beach umbrella in the space at the entrance to the main building, so I took a break there. 🟩Shaved ice: azuki, Uji Kintoki (300 yen including tax) It's a nostalgic shaved ice taste. Nowadays, the pricing feels like a cheap candy store. "You can take the shaved ice to go," said the owner. No way, in this scorching heat, taking shaved ice to go is unreasonable, right?🤣
View on GoogleOriginally, it seems his father ran a dango shop, but after some time, it was reopened as a shop selling onigiri and ohagi. The prices are cheap, and the handmade deliciousness that cannot be compared to convenience stores lies in the soft texture and seasoning. The red bean ohagi is also soft and gently sweet. Around here, Fushimi Dango is famous, but the lineup is different, and I'm sure the sekihan is also delicious. If I remember correctly, the onigiri were salmon, tarako, plum, corn, chicken burdock, etc. They are all under 150 yen, so it's easy to choose. My house is towards Hoya Station, so I really wish there was one near my house. Monday or Tuesday might be closed...
View on GoogleI usually go straight into Musashiseki Park, so I didn't notice "Chanoko". Since I haven't used it yet, I'll save the rating for later. But, it seems perfect for a bento on the day I go, I'm looking forward to it.
View on GoogleBought ohagi. The taste conveys that it was carefully handmade. It has a gentle taste, as if there are no unnecessary additives. Overall it's soft, and the size is just right. The red bean paste is firmly sweet, and the rice is shiny and has a nice texture. Perfect for a snack at Musashiseki Park. Very reasonable. Thanks to the shop.
