Small, stylish restaurant with a homey atmosphere run by a grandmother. You can enjoy a variety of island cuisine (nothing special). When you order sashimi, you get soy sauce with island chili peppers, and you can adjust the seasoning yourself! Sashimi is served with not only wasabi but also island chili peppers! You can order kusaya, but I refrained from ordering it because I thought it would bother other customers, but the customer next to me ordered it. I don't mind it, but if you are sensitive to smells, it may not be for you! I think it was a good experience all in itself.

We visited without a reservation right when they opened. The atmosphere inside is quiet. It felt like some music playing might be nice. There were two staff members. All the food was delicious!! But we were the only customers and initially ordered only about 4 dishes, yet the last one arrived 90 minutes later. Honestly, I got worried. There wasn't a single sound of grilling or frying from the kitchen, so I wondered whether our order had gone through. Finally, about 10 minutes before the food arrived, we heard them start making something in the kitchen, which was reassuring, but we spent the wait bewildered, wondering what all that time had been for!? I told myself this was island time, and I'm glad we didn't rush them. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone short on time. Definitely go if you want a leisurely drink!

It seemed to have lots of local customers. It's run by an elderly woman, and the food takes quite a while to arrive. The tuna was sliced very thinly and served still frozen. There is a wide variety of shellfish that aren't available on the market. The taste was neither good nor bad. Around ⭐︎3.5.

Apparently they've been operating for about 40 years. Two elderly women run the place, so customers sometimes help by serving themselves. First, write your order on the designated form. For additional orders, fill in the form on the table, and (in my case) take it to the kitchen. Cold and hot water are in a designated spot. Ice is taken from a commercial ice machine. We had kinmedai sashimi, salt-grilled takabe, homemade potato chips, and iso yakimeshi. Drinks were a large bottle of Asahi Super Dry, sweet potato and barley 御神火, 盛若 on the rocks, and a highball. There is no counter seating. There are tables and a raised tatami seating area. It's better to make a reservation, even on the same day. They are open until 22:00, but the last food order is at 20:30. It's best to go early. They also have shellfish dishes you won't find at other izakayas. The warm service from the owner, Grandma Nagashima, is lovely too. Thank you for the meal.

The restaurant we'd booked had double-booked, and its owner recommended this place to us. It's a simple island izakaya. There aren't any unusual menu items, but every dish is high quality and the prices are friendly. They always served beer properly in a frozen glass, which gave me an impression of attentive care. If you're going to pick a place with tourist-area prices, I'd recommend this one instead. Thank you for the meal. Thank you for a fun, delicious time.
