Ueno (Yushima) 「ホルモン焼　善」 📍東京都文京区湯島3-38-5 💰4000〜5000円 🚬Non-smoking 👨‍👩‍👦‍👦Tables, counter I come to Ueno occasionally, but it had been a while since I'd been over to Yushima🙃🫧 I love horumon, so grilled horumon makes me happy!♡ We started with 3 kinds of sashimi〜 The senmai sashimi is finely cut and easy to eat🙆‍♀️ But above all, the hachinosu! The seasoning was exactly my thing, and you could tell it was fresh. So delicious〜🥴💐 The drinks just kept going down🍻 I was curious about the citric acid sour my friend ordered, and when I tried it, it was sooo goodー!! By the way, the otoshi is a vegetable platter🥦 It includes zucchini and baby corn, which I personally love, so that made me happy🥹🫶🏻! It's so nice to have vegetables first◎ The fluffy yudetan was also so tender it melted in my mouth. Amazing❣️ You could swallow it without teeth, it's soooo tender! I love that each cut in the horumon platter has seasoning that suits it😆💕 Not just soy sauce, miso, and salt, but basil and other unusual flavors are delicious too⭐️ Personally, nodogashira, tongue, and marucho are among my favorite cuts, and they were delicious😚✨ The misuji, eaten with a mixture of sauce and egg yolk, also had beautiful marbling and was fantastic👏👏 So luxurious, right🥲🔥 And get this, at this restaurant... If you say, “I saw さちこ飯!” you get one complimentary drink🌷 So generous〜😂😂😂! Even as a huge grilled-horumon fan, I was super satisfied, and it gets my seal of approval💮 So everyone, please give it a visit♡

The renowned Saginomiya restaurant 「ほるもん善」, now in its 23rd year. Their chiritori nabe is Tokyo NO1. Do give it a try.

Visited for the first time in about 10 years. I had seafood chijimi and chiritori nabe. Still as delicious as ever. The next generation has taken over, and I missed seeing Mama.

I've been coming here for years. Every dish is delicious. The horumon nabe is a must! Every time, I struggle to decide whether to finish it with udon or rice…(´ω`). They're very welcoming even when I bring a small child. The owner is easygoing, and the staff's service is pleasant too.

A junior colleague first brought me here because it's their regular spot. I was absolutely drunk that time, so I went back sober for my second visit. The manager and his wife are very kind, and the horumon karaage is ridiculously good! I almost ordered it again lol
