Great place, with high quality meats, good service, and fair pices They have a mix of Western and Japanese seating; if you're not comfortable with Japanese seating, I suggest booking in advance

The staff member was from overseas, but was very kind and carefully explained how to grill the meat and what to order. The other staff were also cheerful and kind. The tan-sashi and mino-sashi had a shocking freshness and flavor unlike anything I've eaten before. Personally, I thought the grilled jo-tan was outstanding. I want to eat more of the Sanpoen roast. The kalbi was on another level, mind-blowingly delicious, and the yukhoe was so tender that I ate the most of it. The green chili kimchi and small dishes were also wonderful. Everything was delicious—the best yakiniku restaurant.

It was insanely good! The yukhoe and beef tongue in particular were way too delicious. The beef tongue came with green onions, and it was amazing, green onions and all. If you want good meat at a good price, this is the place! The only rough part was that the customer next to us was obnoxious😿 Also, the staff gave the impression of doing their jobs properly (sorry for sounding condescending💦💦💦💦). If I had to say something... I'd have had an even better impression if they were just a bit friendlier (just my personal opinion) In conclusion, I was very satisfied! I want to go again!!

I think it's pretty tasty. There's parking nearby, but only up to 2 cars can park. If possible, I recommend coming by train to the nearest station. You can get in even with a same-day reservation. If you have the chance around Nakano Ward, it might be good to go. Thank you for the meal.

Sanpoen, a long-established, renowned restaurant where you can savor high-quality yakiniku in Nogata Access A few minutes' walk from Nogata Station on the Seibu Shinjuku Line. It's in the shopping street area, a location long supported by local customers. When to go Everyday yakiniku, dinner after work, days when you want to choose a restaurant based on meat quality. More for people looking for "truly delicious neighborhood yakiniku" than for tourists. Features Among yakiniku restaurants in the Nogata area, this one is very highly rated for the quality of its meat. You can sense their dedication to sourcing and prep across all the standard cuts like liver, tongue, harami, and horumon. It's not flashy, but it's a good, honest neighborhood yakiniku restaurant that gives you peace of mind. Every cut was fresh; the liver in particular had no gamey smell and a smooth texture. The tongue had a nice bite, and the harami had an excellent balance of umami and tenderness. The horumon also had good-quality fat and didn't feel heavy. Also, the kimchi side dish was memorable, with a crisp texture and just the right spiciness—a very well-made dish as a palate cleanser too. You can tell that not just the meat but every item is carefully made. Recommended for ・People looking for a yakiniku restaurant in Nogata that prioritizes meat quality ・People who like liver and horumon ・Neighborhood-yakiniku fans who aren't satisfied with chain restaurants Overall A renowned restaurant that competes on meat quality and careful work, even without flashy presentation. Considering its Nogata location, it felt top-level among neighborhood yakiniku spots. A place I'll want to revisit whenever I want to quietly enjoy quality yakiniku.
