The meat and kimchi (radish) I ordered was delicious! Service was pretty fast and they quickly removed empty plates too.
View on GoogleNEW I went for lunch There is only one dish on the menu, which changes daily The interior still feels like the previous yakiniku restaurant (including the smell inside) If they announced the planned menu in advance, like school lunches, I could aim to go on a particular day… Apparently today (October 16) is yaki udon with plenty of mushrooms, so I'll go again for a second day in a row Yesterday was a hoikoro set meal The seasoning was gentle, and I enjoyed it Thank you for the meal Thinly sliced cucumber dressed with mayonnaise, which I hadn't eaten in ages… delicious There was also one complimentary drink, and I had warm (hot) coffee with the brown sugar on the table A little weak, but tasty Previous report It is no longer operating as a yakiniku restaurant The sign is still above the entrance, but it has become a coffee shop It has changed to a place called ことぶき On Mondays, across the road (Shin-Ome), the mobile vendor つばくろや sets up, focusing on safe, trustworthy products such as vegetables grown with reduced pesticides
View on GoogleIt does cost a fair bit, but I think this is a wonderful yakiniku restaurant. The tan shio, hatsu, karubi, and everything else are reliably delicious! The reimen I had a while ago was tasty too. I think it's good value for money. Somewhere I'd like to come about 3 times a year as a treat!
View on GoogleIt's a bit of a walk from the station, but when I want a proper meal, I'd rather make the extra effort to come here than settle for something random in front of the station. The prices are perfectly standard. The menu doesn't have an especially large selection, but all the meats and dishes are delicious. The atmosphere has a retro feel, like an “older couple's diner” in a good way, and it's perfect for everyday dining. It might be a little less suitable for formal occasions. Depending on the day and time, it can be busy or quiet, and the feel of the service changes completely with the situation, but that's part of its charm. I've never had an unpleasant experience. I hope it stays around for a long time.
View on GoogleThe meat was thin for the price, the cuts were sloppy, and the plating was awful: jo karubi and jo mino were served on the same plate without a divider. Combined with the service attitude, it felt like I was paying to walk on eggshells while being subjected to a punishment game, and my mood plummeted. There's nothing appealing enough to make a special trip to this yakiniku restaurant. I sought it out after reading reviews and recommendations, so it was disappointing.
