Best restaurant we've visited in Japan! The food is authentic and fresh. Everything is homemade. Maybe even worth a Michelin star ⭐ We ordered a lot of food, and everything arrived quickly.
View on GoogleWe stumbled upon this place while we're we're trying to find something less busy around Nakano. We initially wanted to order upon but discovered they have a good fish selection so we went for the sashimi and some small plates. The service was quick and the food really tasty. I really enjoyed the mushrooms which were soft and incredibly tasty. Overall a nice, family run restaurant off the busy main street

View on GoogleWhile heading to aozoracoffe for breakfast, I wandered around the shopping street. Although tempted by the yakitori shop next door, we came to 和香 for lunch. It turned out to be absolutely the right choice‼︎ Udon lunch with a mini kaisendon for 1000円 Actually, I find kaisendon difficult to eat and don't usually like it, but here it's served in a rice bowl, delicious and easy to eat. Today's had marinated seafood (tuna, squid, etc.), scraped tuna, and Yamagata zuke. The marinated seafood was so delicious. Because of the heat, my husband also ordered draft beer and raw oysters. Even at this time of year, the oysters were big and thick! Of course, he said they were delicious. Then the main udon: beautiful kake and bukkake; the difference might be hard to see in the photos. The kake broth had a lovely fish aroma, sweet and delicious. Wow, we've found a good place. Apparently lunch is only served on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays. Nakano has lots of restaurants, so competition is fierce. I'd like to come again♪ Thank you for the meal.
View on GoogleI came in while looking for somewhere to have lunch at the end of the year. I often passed the storefront and knew it was there, but the timing hadn't worked out, so this was my first visit. The Japanese interior resembles an old house, and the owner's homely service made a good impression. That day I had the 讃岐うどん lunch set with 肉汁つけうどん. It's a good-value set that also includes kaisendon. The soup, rich in Japanese dashi and packed with meat and vegetables, was delicious! It went well with the slightly soft yet springy 讃岐うどん. With a mini bowl generously topped with seafood too, 1,200円 is cheap!! Thank you for the meal.
