Delicious sushi ran by a friendly local couple. Well priced. Does not feel touristy even though it is in a touristy area. Loved everything about it!
View on GoogleWhat a lovely restaurant run by a friendly couple, where he makes the most exquisite sushi from the freshest ingredients while she serves excellent sake. Certainly worth a visit. Unlike many places in Nakano, staff speak some English. Cash only.
View on Google2 minutes walk from Nakano Station. I had top sushi. The toppings were fresh and delicious, and the appearance was neat. The sushi itself was a little different from my taste, but overall it was a satisfying content. The shop is easy to enter even at the counter seats, and the atmosphere was calm and comfortable. It seemed like you could order sushi individually, but there was no price display, so I hesitated a little. I think you can enjoy it with more peace of mind if you can check before ordering.
View on GoogleOld sushi shop at Nakano North Exit Only counter seats, a shop where you can eat calmly. Honestly, if you eat at a chain conveyor belt sushi, I want you to come here with children. The price is not that different, and you can enjoy the craftsman's taste properly.
View on Google■Shop Name Umezushi ■Location Nakano Station ■Budget 4000-4999 yen ■Menu ordered ・Tokujo Nigiri (Special Nigiri) ----- Founded 60 years ago. Old town sushi shop that existed before Sun Mall. Crowded with regulars. Located near the entrance of the bar district at the north exit, and there is Enji famous for tsukemen nearby. Inside the shop, 9 counter seats. There is a 2nd floor but it seems to be only for toilets. If the counter is full, they stop guiding customers. There are 9 counter seats but it is quite narrow so let's sit while giving way to each other. Menu is as written. Simple lineup, huh. It seems to be a style of ordering snacks by looking at the refrigerator case in front of the counter. What I ordered this time is as follows. ▼Tokujo Nigiri The lineup is as follows. Chu-toro (Medium fatty tuna) Tai (Sea bream) O-toro (Fatty tuna) Aji (Horse mackerel) Akagai (Red clam) Buri (Yellowtail) Uni (Sea urchin) Kappa-maki (Cucumber roll) Tekka-maki (Tuna roll) Safely delicious. I think the amount and taste are according to the cost-performance. The toppings are not bad either, it was good toppings with freshness and no smell. I'm worried about the hardness of the rice stuck in my teeth, and there is a little regret that I wanted to eat red meat. The recommended topping of the day is Uni. Maybe this is also safe. That's all. Because you can't see inside the shop from the outside, it's hard to enter, but if you enter, there is a town sushi with only a counter waiting, so even single customers can enjoy it. Thank you for the meal. I will come again. ※Please like and save!
