Very good omurice with a variety of options and toppings since you can even choose the type of rice you want. Also the owner is very friendly and you’ll be sure to have a nice conversation!

It was so good, you really get a lot of food for the price compared to other restaurants in Tokyo. Both the waitress and the chef were very welcoming and nice to me (which isn’t always the case as a foreigner traveling in Japan). I definitely recommend. I got the large 6 eggs omurice with butter rice and curry sauce and I enjoyed every bite. Oishii!

Nogata 「洋食屋 たまちゃん」 Omurice (with soup and salad) 800円. At the far end of Hanamichi, straight through the shopping street outside Nogata Station's north exit. This is a noteworthy place that omurice lovers will find irresistible, where you can customize the size, rice, and sauce in detail to your liking. It used to be called 「おむおむ」, but I don't know whether the owner changed or what happened. The ordering system is as follows. ①Choose a size ・Small 680円 (rice 150g / 3 eggs) ※1 rice bowl's worth ・Regular 800円 (rice 300g / 4 eggs) ※2 rice bowls' worth ・Large 1000円 (rice 500g / 6 eggs) ※3 rice bowls' worth ②Choose rice ・Ketchup rice / butter rice / white rice / garlic rice +50円 ③Choose sauce ・Ketchup sauce / demi-glace sauce / tomato sauce / cream sauce / curry sauce ＋50円 Toppings such as cheese, tonkatsu, and hamburger steak are also available. This time, I chose 「regular size」, with the classic combination of 「ketchup rice」 and 「demi-glace sauce」. The omurice that arrived had a beautifully shaped 「wrapped-style」 form. When I put my spoon into it, the egg wrapping was surprisingly fluffy. The ketchup rice inside was moist and stir-fried just right, and paired perfectly with the generous helping of lighter demi-glace sauce. Rich but not too heavy, so even with the substantial regular-size portion, I couldn't stop spooning it up and finished it easily. The value is also excellent, with salad and soup included in the set. You can enjoy different combinations and toppings depending on your mood, so this was a lovely Western-style restaurant that made me want to return many times and find my favorite combination.

I visited 「洋食屋 たまちゃん」, about a 4-minute walk from the north exit of Nogata Station on the Seibu Shinjuku Line. Look for the green noren curtain with a cute cat logo. Inside, pink walls and antique-style frames create a very homey, comfortable space. 【The shock of a “large portion” beyond imagination!】 This time I ordered pasta in a 「large portion (＋300円)」, and was genuinely surprised when it arrived! A mountain of pasta filled a large deep plate, almost overflowing. If you're imagining a typical restaurant's large portion, this is a surprisingly enormous amount, showing an overwhelming generosity that anyone wanting to eat their fill will love. 【Carefully selected noodles and a lavish set】 Apparently the pasta uses semolina from Italian durum wheat, giving the noodles a springy, chewy texture. There were plenty of ingredients too, and the rich sauce clung well to the thick noodles, making it very satisfying. Another delight is how complete the set is. Pasta dishes come with soup, salad, and garlic toast as standard. Garlic toast: Crisp and fragrant, and delicious dipped in the pasta sauce too. The garlic is really strong! Delicious! Salad: Crunchy shrimp crackers (Asian crackers) sit on top of crisp vegetables, making the texture fun too! Soup: A gently flavored egg soup with a comforting deliciousness. 【Service and comfort】 The menu is also lined with appealing Western-style dishes, including Napolitan, mentaiko mayonnaise, various omurice and doria dishes, and good-value snack sets, so it looks enjoyable no matter how often you visit.
