We came to celebrate a friend's second happy retirement. We heard it was a small place, so we booked ahead. We arrived early, and although the noren wasn't up yet, the owner let us in because it was hot. Thank you! About 5 counter seats and 2 tables. There were 2 tables in the tatami room at the back that we used. Wow, it had been a long time since I'd had sashimi this good. Since the sashimi was so good, we also ordered maguro no nuta. Just as delicious! We ordered fugu no karaage and other dishes, moving from beer to sake. They apparently have a good selection of Hokuriku sake, so there's plenty to drink. We finished with zaru udon (Inaniwa, if I remember correctly). Apparently the day after the owner goes fishing is the best time to visit (Wednesday after Tuesday, I think?). I'll be back!

I dropped in for the first time while passing by. I would have appreciated a slightly more welcoming atmosphere from the owner and his wife. I'm not sure whether they're shy or always like that with first-time customers. Won't return.

I guess a generation that only goes to places where part-timers do the cooking can't appreciate the real thing.

A kappo restaurant focused on seafood. A nice atmosphere and delicious dishes to enjoy with drinks. The prices are low too.

The value for money is absolutely terrible, so it's suited to people with unlimited money.
