① Restaurant Features Ramen restaurant with delicious homemade tsukemen noodles. Only 10 seats at the counter. The counter is separated by partitions for every two people, so you can eat calmly. ②How to order Purchase a meal ticket from the ticket machine on the right side of the entrance. The menu you ordered is the second one from the top on the right side of the ticket machine. ③Payment Method Cash only. ◎Curry Tsukemen The homemade noodles are thick, straight, and satisfying. If you order a large portion, you will be surprised at the violent amount, but you will be able to finish it because of the deliciousness of the noodles. The curry is not too spicy, and you can enjoy the flavor of the stewed meat.

This tsukemen shop is along 青梅街道, between 新中野 and 東高円寺. It feels slightly closer from 新中野, but you have to cross 中野通り, so it's about the same either way. The shop uses a meal-ticket system. It gave me a very austere impression. First, no background music, no customer conversations All you hear are noodles being slurped, tsukemen being prepared, dishes being washed, and “Welcome” and “Thank you”. That feeling of facing your noodles head-on. I just love it. The atmosphere makes you feel like you'd get scolded for talking, so it might not be for everyone. As for the taste, the noodles are distinctive—is this what they call whole wheat? They're hefty noodles with little specks in them, and they seem more flavorful than regular noodles. But the soup holds its own too, thick with seafood flavor and delicious. The sour-seasoned cabbage is refreshing, so you can keep eating without getting bored. I even had the soup diluted at the end. Also, I had a large serving, and it was quite a lot.

Because of their irregular days off, I finally managed to visit “澤神” on my 3rd attempt. My heart was racing with excitement for this long-awaited lunch. There are only about 10 counter seats. Although the owner works alone, he is so efficient that everything flows smoothly through to serving, and I felt no stress at all. This time we ordered curry tsukemen and tsukemen. The curry tsukemen had just the right amount of spice to whet the appetite, while the tsukemen had a rich, thick seafood-based soup with an acidic accent that struck a perfect balance. The homemade whole-wheat noodles have a firm bite, and the wheat aroma spreads with every chew. Cabbage dressed in sweet vinegar is also served as a palate cleanser, a thoughtful touch that keeps things enjoyable to the very end ◎. The bowl I'd long hoped to try exceeded my expectations, and this is definitely a place I'll visit again. Thank you for the meal!

My first visit to 澤神(さわがみ). Despite only opening for lunch, it was full right up until closing time! The customers were almost all men, and it already had the aura of a popular spot. I ordered the regular tsukemen. The bowl arrived in about 10 minutes, and it was beautiful just to look at. The noodles are thick, just short of extra-thick, and their wheat flavor spreads with every chew. What surprised me was the dipping broth. Alongside the classic combination of animal+seafood broth, “a powerful hit of acidity!” comes straight at you. Honestly, the first bite was so intense it caught me off guard: “Huh!?” There was even pickled cabbage called “澤神キャベツ” on top, another unexpected surprise. But strangely, the acidity never gets in the way, instead leaving a clean finish with an exquisite balance. It becomes more addictive the more you eat. There didn't seem to be any broth for diluting the soup, but the portion was generous and very satisfying. Even with a slightly higher price, the fullness and distinctive acidic experience made it a worthwhile bowl. 👉 A perfect hit for sour-flavor lovers! This is a one-of-a-kind tsukemen that stays refreshing and enjoyable to the very end.

I love it. I'm impressed by how incredibly efficient the owner is while working alone. The noodles are delicious. Both the tsukemen and mazesoba are delicious.
