We came here expecting to have one of those experiences where you like the food, but reminisce about how “real” Afghan food is always better than the stuff you find overseas. We left with expectations exceeded and vowing to return. Our first time experience at Pao Caravan could not have been better. The various meat skewers were very good - cooked over coals outside - and our monto dumplings were out of this world! We did find the lamb ribs and tomato to be a bit expensive for the portion size, but, overall, did not have an issue with the prices, as some have reported. Highly highly recommended. They are currently open for lunch on the weekends. It is advisable to call in advance and make a reservation.

First time having Afghan food and everything was really tasty. We ordered some lamb skewers, raw lamb slices, a tomatoey lamb dish and laghman. They have very distinctive profiles of spices and herbs. Very nicely seasoned. The nan bread is crispy and goes well with the lamb dishes. The laghman ended the meal in a very satisfying way. Do give it a shot.

One of the most delicious cuisine menues in Japan. Top authentic Afghani dishes with nice service. Prices are high compared to other ethnic restaurants but still worth it. I loved sitting on the floor too.

A surprise for us to visit this restaurant. The vibe is very good even during lunch time. The main is lamb here. You can find lamb dumpling, lamb skwer and noodles. There are also chicken options if you are not into lamp like me. The spices make the dishes very attractive. Don't forget to try their Chia milk tea, it is the best drink here!

Food was really delicious and nice atmosphere . Interesting fusion of Afghan dishes and Japanese , reasonably priced and friendly staff . Reservation is a must .
