Deliciously seasoned Showa-era yakiniku” A long-established yakiniku restaurant in 中野, in business for over 60 years. Grandma is the face of the place, creating a gentle atmosphere together with Grandpa. A Showa-era yakiniku spot loved by locals. On the right are a nostalgic display case and food replicas. ★Especially recommended ・Senmai sashimi with sesame vinegar miso sauce The crunchy texture is delicious. The moderate acidity and rich sauce are fantastic. ・Salt-seasoned horumon Springy, with sweet fat bursting out—makes you want seconds. ■Recommended ・Special premium karubi ・Special premium rosu Both are marbled meats soaked in Showa-style sauce, nicely thick and very delicious. ・Karubi You should also order this delicious karubi, slightly chewier than the special premium version. ・Liver Both are delicious. ・Premium mino Thick, with an addictively crunchy texture. To finish ・Gomtang Milky oxtail broth ・Daegutang soup Savory, spicy soup Both are delicious; personally, I recommend dekutan. Besides draft beer and other drinks, bottled beer comes in サッポロ or キリン. They have the yakiniku restaurant staple sake “とらじの唄”. Inside, there are 2 seating spots in the raised floor area. Other seating is at tables. Booked a few days ahead for Saturday from 19:00. The menu has been in use for years, so some items aren't available, but everything available is delicious, so it doesn't bother me. Recommended for anyone wanting a comforting yakiniku meal with like-minded friends.

My favorite yakiniku restaurant in the world. I go thinking I'm going to eat 中野苑's meat, rather than just good meat. That's how one of a kind it is. As you can see, even the color of the meat is distinctive. This is premium salted tongue, by the way. Not salmon pink, but a dark red, or gray. A shade far removed from the usual things good meat has in common. Shocking, right? Once you actually grill and eat it, it's insanely delicious. The salt hits hard, straight to the brain. And the meat quality is by no means bad. It's just the complete opposite of the fatty stuff served at expensive yakiniku places. The kind that gets tastier the more you chew. Pair that with a ridiculously strong oolong high (the oolong tea is practically just for color). Against the brain-hitting saltiness and meaty savoriness, the piercing bite of alcohol rolls over your tongue. This seriously, seriously blows you away. The best. By the way, every meat is faultless. If you're tired of fancy yakiniku places, I think you'll be surprised how much you can put away here. I truly hope they keep going for many years. Dad, Mom, thank you, love you!!

We had 2 alcoholic drinks, rice, and all the meat we could eat for just over 4000円 per person. Apparently it's family-run, and the atmosphere is very warm. The service made the food taste even better and warmed my heart! The meat is seasoned fairly strongly, which keeps the drinks and rice going, and before I knew it I was full lol The lady running the place recommended the horumon, so we ordered it this time. It was generous and delicious, and made me want to eat it again! I imagine the location and running the business can be challenging, but it seems like a place loved by locals! I'll definitely return!

An old-fashioned neighborhood yakiniku restaurant. It seems to be run by a married couple, but only the person who appears to be the wife handles service. It's not exactly meticulous service, but she does look out for the customers. The food is neither good nor bad. It may have been a coincidence, but the clientele wasn't particularly great; I encountered several rough-mannered families. Perhaps yakiniku restaurants are places where you get to see “what a family is like.” The smokeless roaster cooked very well across its entire surface and was pleasant to use.

About a 5 minute walk from 新井薬師前駅. A yakiniku restaurant loved by locals. *Liver *Premium tongue *Horumon *Karubi *Kimchi *Heart After going to a public bath with a friend, we started talking about somewhere to eat. My friend said there was a yakiniku restaurant nearby that they used to visit as a child, so we came here. An old-fashioned yakiniku restaurant with the feel of a local hangout! First, they brought out complimentary bean sprout namul! Then the meat started arriving one dish after another! We ordered 1 portion of everything, but the servings were generous, which was great◎ The freshness of the liver, the thickness of the premium tongue, the satisfying horumon, the seasoning of the karubi... everything was delicious!! Since it's an old-fashioned place, it's smoky inside, but that's part of its charm! I hope places like this keep going forever◎ Very satisfied! If you're nearby, I'd really love you to try it!!
