View on GoogleA local history museum with free admission. It exhibits and explains the history of the people living in the Nakano area, from primitive times to the present, through excavated items and folk materials. The special exhibition in a separate room focuses on a further theme with selected content, and was quite worth seeing. The explanation panels are written in plain, easy-to-understand language so you can learn while having fun, and I felt they were especially devoted to speaking to children. Access: about a 10-minute walk from Numabukuro Station on the Seibu Shinjuku Line, so it's a bit far; by bus, there are stops connecting to Nerima Station, Nakano Station, and Koenji Station. If you come by car, there are spaces for 3 cars.
