⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A peaceful little place with a truly warm atmosphere. 🍵✨ Mysore Cafe has a calm, gentle feeling that makes you want to slow down and stay a little longer. There is a sweet aroma of chai in the air, and the peaceful atmosphere makes it the perfect place to read a book, enjoy a good meal, or simply sit with a warm drink. 📖☕ For Ashtanga practitioners, it is a wonderful place to visit after practice. It feels like a natural extension of the morning—relaxed, nourishing, and peaceful. 🧘♀️🌿 The staff were kind, the space was cozy, and we felt very welcome. A lovely café that brings a sense of calm to the day. 🌸
View on GoogleI honestly don’t even have words to explain how AMAZING the food at Mysore Cafe was. The lemon rice was absolutely perfect, served with fresh salads, delicious potato and moong dal palya, and the sambar… truly one of the best I’ve ever tasted. The moment I took the first bite, I genuinely felt out of this world. Everything was so authentic, comforting, and full of flavour, the kind of food that instantly makes you happy. What made the experience even more special were the beautiful Japanese owners. They were so warm, passionate, and welcoming, sharing stories about Mysore and how they visit every year because of their love for the culture and food. You can really see the respect and heart they put into every detail of this café. A hidden gem in Tokyo for anyone craving authentic South Indian food. This place is not just about food, it’s an experience 🤍
View on GoogleIt's a vegetarian place with about a dozen chairs and a few stools. kind of a herbal atmosphere? Feels very peaceful, but perhaps it gets crowded sometimes. I was able to ID the background music by getting close to the speaker. It was "The Touch Of Your Lips" by Chet Baker. Both their own and public Wi-Fi. There's a fixed menu and daily lunch options, but it seems only three choices today. I went with the spiciest option, rice seasoned with black pepper. There was a big red pepper, but only for decoration. Short grain rice but an interesting blend of flavors. Three vegetables, small carrots cubes with some coconut, some crunchy little beans, and some potatoes. There was a small bowl of soup, or perhaps a soup curry. Slightly spicy. I'm still going to give it a high four stars in spite of the lack of naan.
View on GoogleVery cute little cafe located near station. the vibe immediately takes you back to memories from Mysore with little pieces of memorabilia like cookbooks and pictures. The owner has been to Mysore multiple times and the taste of good old satvik food reflects on every plate. The options although limited but are good. The curry tasted very different than usual sambar in the lemon rice and tomato rice sets ordered by us, so it's a little different than traditional Mysore sambar. The spices are very subtle and not over the top which let's you savour the actual flavour of the food. Coffee was really good and flavourful as well. I wish they had more vegetarian options especially the iconic Mysore masala dosa! Would recommend this place to anyone looking for good and simple Indian meals in the area.
View on GoogleI was traveling with a vegan friend and had to find vegan friendly restaurants throughout the trip, which can be quite difficult in Japan. Luckily we found this cafe while visiting a friend nearby. It turned out to be a pleasant experience. We all ordered the daily meal which was delicious. I just wished the portion wasn’t this small. The atmosphere was very quiet, too quiet for me but my vegan friend loved it.
