I enjoy eating and trying different set meals from Miyakoya. It is delicious since it is always freshly cooked and well-seasoned. The restaurant interior is cleaner as well. Miyakoya was featured in one of the Solitary Gourmet TV shows.

A restaurant featured in 孤独のグルメ. (Season1, episode 第6) 「中野区鷺ノ宮のロースにんにく焼き」 I'd been curious about it for ages, so I'm happy I finally made it! I ordered the 「ロースにんにく焼き」 set meal that 五郎 also ate. It was 1000円. It was fantastic!! The garlic really packs a punch! The rich sweet-and-savory sauce makes you keep eating rice! The tender meat is wonderful too! The portion is a little… But it tastes so good that I'm completely fine with it (haha). I visited just after opening. Another 2 customers came afterward, and they also ordered "ロースにんにく焼き定食". It really is the specialty! Even though it's a tonkatsu restaurant (haha). I'm glad I came! Thank you for the meal!

A popular restaurant that also appeared in 孤独のグルメ… though I only found that out afterward. For lunch, I ordered ロースにんにく焼定食. A hearty dish with a sweet-and-savory sauce and a powerful garlic kick. The touch of ichimi is nice too, and it's delicious enough to keep the rice going. Of course, I enjoyed every last bit of the sauce with the shredded cabbage! . 1000円（ロースにんにく焼定食）

●Visited 202410 Our usual regular gathering in 鷺ノ宮. While researching, I found there seemed to be a restaurant from 孤独のグルメ. I headed over fully intending to eat tonkatsu. Looking at the menu by the entrance… fried pork stuffed with garlic? Sounds good! Wait, ロースニンニク焼き!? That looks delicious too! It's a small restaurant with 8 counter seats and a tatami area for 4 in the back. Inside, a couple and local customers were quietly eating tonkatsu set meals. After some deliberation, I decided to avoid fried food because I've been gaining weight lately and ordered ロースニンニク焼き定食 for 1200円. It arrived after a 5-minute wait. It looked like ginger pork made with thin loin slices, but the garlic aroma was wafting powerfully. One bite brought the savory tender meat and garlic soy sauce together beautifully. The firm rice went down eagerly. I thought there wasn't much meat, but this dish really makes the rice disappear! The macaroni salad was a wonderful palate refresher. By the time I left, the restaurant was almost full. My stomach was eight-tenths full… but my mouth was twelve-tenths garlic breath! Pretty good~ Oh… I ate the same thing as 五郎! Only realized afterward (haha).

鷺ノ宮　みやこや About a 3-minute walk from the north exit of 鷺ノ宮 Station. The restaurant is on a backstreet in a fairly residential area, near what looks like a government office. I'd been curious about it on 食べログ for a while but hadn't had a chance to go. This time, I could stop for lunch while out on sales calls, so I visited. The storefront alone raises expectations. I ordered ロースかつ定食. It's a small place run by a married couple? but the food arrived quite quickly. It came with loin katsu, potato salad, lightly pickled vegetables, and miso soup. The loin katsu is relatively thin and surprisingly light to eat. The breading is thin too, making it easy to eat. After one bite, I thought this meat might be ideal for ginger pork or tonteki. I haven't tried ロースにんにく焼定食, but it seems to have quite a good reputation. Next time, I think I'll order ロースにんにく定食. I'll visit again.
