Cute little cafe definitely worth going, only thing is that's it allows smoking which can get stinky

Charmingly run-down little kissa in an unlikely area, with delicious coffee and seasonal sweets. The coffee is served with care, and even the dishware changes with the seasons. Feels old enough to have seen the red protests of kiddie days. Grandmother probably has some great stories.

relaxing cofffee shops with all types of costumers, some days i will visit and see only older crowd(40+) and some days i will visit and find young people or even girls in cosplay. you might not like it here if you cant stand the smell of cigarettes.

Perfect place to take a break while exploring Nakano. I've been here several times over the years and every time have enjoyed delicious coffee and calm classical music from the friendly owner.

A hideaway in Nakano Sun Mall: a luxurious moment at the long-established 「くれない茶房」 Leaving the bustle of the Nakano Sun Mall shopping street behind and climbing the stairs to the 2nd floor, you'll find 「くれない茶房」 quietly tucked away. Loved in Nakano for many years, this long-established shop is perfectly described by the word 「junkissa」. Step inside, and a calm space retaining traces of the Showa era opens up before you. The signature charcoal-roasted coffee is carefully brewed one cup at a time after each order, with exceptional depth and aroma. Japanese tea and homemade cakes are also very famous, and whichever you choose offers a blissful taste that reflects the owner's dedication. Its continued policy of allowing smoking at every seat, now increasingly rare, is another welcome feature for smokers and lovers of traditional coffeehouse culture. Savoring amber-colored coffee as time passes quietly makes you forget the bustle of everyday life. Payment is 「cash only」. This approach, standing apart from the recent shift toward cashless payments, may also be part of the shop's uncompromising charm. If you seek true coffee and tranquility in Nakano, this is a renowned shop you should definitely visit.
