I've had lunch here once before, and since it was delicious, I went for takeout this time! The curry bento comes with salad and chicken, plus a regular naan for just 750 yen—great value! ✨️ The staff speak Japanese well and are very friendly. While waiting for my takeout order, they kindly offered me a complimentary mango lassi. Their lassi is also incredibly delicious, so I was really happy! This is the popular restaurant 'Asian Ethnic Restaurant & Bar Koseri', opened in January 2011. Run by an owner-chef with over 20 years of culinary experience, it offers not just Indian cuisine but a wide range including Thai, Vietnamese, and Chinese dishes. They also opened a branch in Nakano Fujimicho in 2013. The location is about a 3-minute walk from Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line's "Shin-Nakano" Station. Look for the Asian-style sign on the first floor of an apartment building. First visit with colleagues just before noon on a weekday. Inside, the long, narrow space has about 30 table seats. A few customers were already there. We were seated at the farthest table and ordered from the menu: ○ Barbecue Set ¥1,188 (tax included) Spicy level: Hot. Soft drink: Mango Lassi. A bit pricey, but the BBQ Set is quite generous: two curries (mutton and butter chicken), a mini salad, one piece of tandoori chicken, pilaf, naan, soft drink, and dessert. Plus, one free refill of naan & rice. After a few minutes, the mini salad and mango lassi arrived. The crisp, fresh salad was delicious. Just as we finished the salad, a silver platter arrived laden with mutton curry, butter chicken curry, tandoori chicken, pilaf, and a large naan. The mutton curry had no gamey goat flavor, but the spice hit hard. The aroma of the spices was pleasant and irresistible. The Butter Chicken Curry combines the chicken's savory flavor with the richness of butter and cashews, accented by the sweetness and tang of tomatoes for a mellow, rich taste. Even though it's labeled spicy, it's not overly hot. The Tandoori Chicken was tender and juicy. It wasn't as spicy as it looked, well-seasoned, and delicious. The naan was large, piping hot, fluffy, fragrant, and had a chewy texture. Dipping it in the curry makes you want to keep eating more and more. We left half of each curry, and of course, got more naan! We ended up polishing off two whole naan, completely stuffed and finished everything. By this point, the restaurant was nearly full. You could tell it's a popular spot. Thank you for the meal! ❗️ Next time, I'm definitely going to dine in and try the mango lassi! 🍛🥭

Under 30 seats in a very linear layout. Japanese TV in the corner and Nepali decorations on the walls. Atmosphere good for drinking, too. Various table sizes, but they seem to be set for some large groups. Posted Wi-Fi password, but no charging. Broad menu goes to Thailand and Vietnam, beyond Indian and Nepali. A couple of customers I noticed got me to wondering about their payment options. Kind of far from the station. A bit of struggle to get Google Maps to reveal it, but I'm glad I persisted. Delicious curry of the day was broccoli keema, though the spiciness was slightly to the Japanese side. The naan was very good, with an unusual kind of doughy flavor. Heavy not fluffy. The rice was really a treat, with peas and some other ingredients. Excellent salad with a tasty dressing. In a surprise to buy a bit of sherbet for dessert. Coffee was good too, and a very competitive price, so overall a very strong four stars.

Great selection of lunch sets at a reasonable price. Overly salty shish kebab and mint sauce. Tasty and delicious curries, nan bread, and rice.

Surprisingly good restaurant. I didn't expect much going in but the fact that they have special dishes like vegetable jalfrezi as part of their regular set menu is amazing. The service was also quick and non intrusive - exactly the way I like it
