Sure, even for Kobe beef rump, a price in the 5000 range could be considered cheap. Cooking it at home leaves the extractor fan and kitchen filthy, so if you can enjoy it nicely cooked at a restaurant, fair enough. But the accompanying vegetables and rice are underwhelming. The cooking is uneven, or rather, it takes so long to arrive that it's cold. I don't mind the fondness for chatting, given their age. Well, it's a set-meal place in a country town, so will I eat there again? I don't know. Atmosphere is part of the flavor, after all.
View on GoogleI've been about 3 times, and the hamburg steak is delicious. But I still think it's a bit expensive. And after 3 visits, the lady's nonstop chatter is always the same stories, and I've had my fill. They seem to have appeared on TV fairly often before, so if you're interested, give it a try once, I suppose.
View on GoogleAfter reading the reviews on the site, I visited with my steak-loving mother. As the reviews said, the hamburg steak was delicious, and the sauce was authentic too. But… those prices in that location??? Kobe beef??? The steak was cold too, and we ate our 5000円 steaks in a corner of the counter because they said it would be a problem if groups or families came in. In the end, no groups or families came before we left! I was simply stunned. I felt a little guilty about taking my mother there. Could they be assuming that Nerima residents don't know Kobe beef…??? It was just too much, so I'm posting this. The owner's wife said she grew up in a shitamachi neighborhood, but so did I. It seems like a place catering to tourists with a one-off approach to business.
View on GoogleUnfortunately, it seems to be past its prime already. I think we're seeing the harmful behavior of elderly people here. They went on and on boasting, and I couldn't focus on the food at all; I was exhausted from nodding → responding. If you're in the service industry, I'd like you to think more about your customers. It seems like nothing more than an old person's pastime, but the food tastes good, and the meat must be good too. Maybe it's wasted on someone my age?
View on GoogleWhen I ordered Kobe beef, they just kept going on and on complaining. When it finally came, the meat was extremely cold, and around the time I'd finished my rice they asked things like, “Would you like more rice?” It was Kobe beef I could never have imagined being served in a 3700円 course.
