Cosy homey soba noodle place with Kishimen. The side dishes are reasonable. The katsudon set is a good combo. The crust could have been a bit more crispier. I also like their soba 焼酒.
View on GoogleI'm grateful for a soba restaurant in Tokyo that has a parking lot. I visited at 13:30, but it wasn't crowded and I was able to enter smoothly. I ordered the katsudon set. The katsudon, which had a very strong dashi flavor, was voluminous and the best. By the way, I learned later that you can make the soba in the set a large portion for an extra 100 yen! If I had known from the beginning, I would have made it a large portion! Anyway, Kashiwaya is reasonable and voluminous. I will visit again.
View on GoogleIt's a spacious shop. There are tatami mat seats. Since the water and rice are delicious, I think everything you eat is delicious.
View on GoogleNot only the soba, but the recommendation is the katsudon. If you make it a katsudon set, it comes with soba, so I come hungry and make it a set. The staff are all kind, and it's a warm shop. Recently there are young staff members, and I'm happy that everyone welcomes us; it's an important shop.
View on GoogleA long-established soba restaurant from before the 1960s (Showa 40s). The interior has a calm atmosphere, with table seats and raised tatami seats. When I go, I order either the katsudon set (you can choose cold or hot soba) or the oyakodon set. The soup is on the spicy side, which is my preferred taste, but be careful with the salt content. At night, it's also good to drink soba shochu mixed with soba water. They also have eel and tempura, and it feels like it's loved by the locals.
