It's nice, can't eat this quality with the price
View on Google【Visited 2512】 Value four-item platter ×2 Cubed meat Premium mino ×2 Horumon Assorted kimchi Namul Gomtang soup Yukgaejang soup Around 2〜3 drinks each A neighborhood yakiniku restaurant right by Higashi-Nakano's east exit. Five of us visited around 20:30 near the end of the year, and it was 70% full. There is tatami seating at the back and a large shared table in the middle; we were shown to the tatami area. Sauce and small plates were brought over, and I appreciated that everyone got their own tongs too. Grilling was over charcoal in a shichirin. The seasoning was generally on the stronger side, which I like. Considering the prices, I think the meat quality was more than good enough. The gomtang had a peppery kick, and the yukgaejang packed some heat. I can see why so many people use it as a place to drink. The service was friendly and pleasant too. We walked in without a reservation and left satisfied.
View on GoogleVisited for lunch on a weekday. The yakiniku lunch sets are reasonably priced, starting at 800円. I ordered リブ角切 and horumon. They use charcoal shichirin grills, so there is smoke. There are dedicated exhaust ducts, but the suction isn't particularly strong. The meat, 3 kinds of namul, and kimchi arrive together on one plate, which I imagine might bother some people. Most importantly, the meat is delicious. It isn't merely what you'd expect for the price; it's properly good. The horumon is strongly seasoned but has no unpleasant smell at all. The plump, bouncy fat really whets your appetite. It's a little disappointing that the dipping sauce isn't quite to my taste, but this is where I come when I feel like having meat at lunchtime.
View on GoogleA yakiniku restaurant with a distinctive character! The green onions on the negi tan shio were unusual too, with a crisp crunch. I'd never had anything like it〜 Tastes will probably differ, but the harami was my favorite♩ The loin was delicious too. I forgot to photograph the menu😭
View on GoogleA long-established yakiniku restaurant in Higashi-Nakano. It used to be on the 2nd floor of an old building nearby, but moved to another nearby building and now has a street-level location. It's family-run, and they're very kind. The yakiniku is delicious, with plenty of quality beef at reasonable prices. The wagyu karubi and nakaochi karubi are exceptional. Be warned: the large rice serving is an absolute mountain.
