This shop offers a small range of omurice in different quantities. You order first at the kiosk and then had to staff your order. We got the white sauce omurice and the hayashi omurice. The shop is small but has two levels and has an old school Hawaiian-American theme. Downstairs are single seats that sit about 6 or 7 people and the narrow stairway to upstairs is able to seat slightly larger groups and doubles. Food comes out fast and tastes good although nothing incredible but price is not high either. It's a nice quick stop for lunch and does feel like you're in the Heisei-era.

We stumbled upon this cozy little place as we were looking for a place to eat for the evening. The food was very good, I had the hayashi omurice and a cup of onion soup. For a total of 1050¥. We (four foreigners for the Netherlands) sat down at the counter. The staff was friendly, and we hand no problem with the service. The ordering via the ticket machine is easy enough thanks to the English on the labels. For a quick meal I can definitely recommend Hayashi-ya Nakan-sou.

Bruh the atmosphere, the food. You get it you pay at the machine then you wait. Place is quite narrow but it adds to the charm. We left our buggy outside to not bother other customers but they insisted we park it inside instead which was very nice. Our son was sleeping so we couldn’t fold it. I had the bolognese with the egg on it. My wife had the omelette rice. Would cost you 2000 yen for 2 people which is super cheap!

TLDR: One of my favorite omelette rice in Tokyo. The cream shrimp omelette rice is my favorite dish. Smooth in the mouth, balanced taste. —————— Pro: 1. Cheap but really delicious. Amazingly cooked egg is perfectly half liquidated, looks beautiful and tasted really smooth. The white creamy sauce is so balanced that you’ll never feel it’s too rich. 2. The rice tastes flavorful but not too sweet or salty. It tasted really like “fried rice”. 3. Retro interior, really cool store. It’s not new at all, but I like it. —————— Cons: 1. Sides need some improvements

Omg this place is so cute and GOOD! I was looking for a place that serves only omelette rice and this is the spot. 10/10 you use a kiosk to purchase your order and hand your ticket to the staff. Would totally come back for the curry omurice :)
