An authentic Tonkotsu ramen restaurant. Only 7 seats. You can't find this kind of the authentic Tonkotsu ramen even in Fukuoka easily. They offer a half kaedama in 50 yen.
View on GooglePretty great tasting tonkotsu. The noodles were thin and just right. Lots of chashu for an affordable price.
View on GoogleA ramen shop very close to 沼袋 Station. You can enjoy Hakata tonkotsu ramen here. It's simple, but the slightly thick soup has no unpleasant smell or harshness, and is rich and brimming with umami. It pairs perfectly with the ultra-thin noodles characteristic of Hakata tonkotsu, which go down effortlessly. The chashu is delicious enough to show how carefully it was prepared, goes well with the soup, and the takana is tasty too. Adding garlic gives it a punch, letting you enjoy a change in the soup's flavor. The staff are kind too, and it's nice to be able to eat without waiting.
View on GoogleThe soup is very delicious. I originally wasn't a fan of thin noodles, but I enjoy the ones here. Personally, I love the black mayu oil ramen. The mentaiko on the mentaiko rice is brought directly from Hakata (apparently). Mildly spicy and delicious. It's a 30-second walk from the station, so it's easy to stop by. A place I find myself wanting to visit out of the blue.
View on GoogleUnfortunately, it has closed (evicted due to road widening). I sincerely hope they open a new place in the neighborhood again. I lived in Fukuoka for work for about 7 years, and this was unquestionably delicious Hakata ramen in Tokyo. (My personal opinion)
