This is Motsuyaki Enjin, Nakano branch. We serve plated grilled offal made with fresh offal delivered directly from Shibaura. Our salt-based stew features offal that is prepared separately by cut and slowly simmered. Our motsunabe is packed with vegetables and springy offal. Our fried chicken wings have a grown-up flavor with a kick of sansho pepper. Alongside staples such as potato salad mixed with smoked salmon, we offer an extensive daily menu, including fresh fish purchased every day. All the food is delicious!! There are several reviews about a staff member with poor service, but I feel it's their personality rather than intentional. The female staff member and owner provide very pleasant service, so overall there's no problem. I'd like to visit again.
View on GoogleA popular motsuyaki spot serving chiritori nabe and other hot pots. You can't order hot pot unless you arrive by 22:00! The individual dishes come on small plates, with sizes and prices just right for trying lots of things! If you can't have hot pot, you can finish with curry! And that curry is delicious too! The Tochio-age in the stew is great as well!
View on GoogleI went because Yuki Yoda-chan had visited. The karaage, fried horse mackerel, and other dishes came in generous portions, which was great. I hadn't noticed, but there's a Yoda-chan Set that they'll show you if you ask a staff member for the menu! Apparently the chopsticks also come in her penlight colors, so I'd like to visit again.
View on GoogleThe food is very delicious, the owner is lovely, and it's a comfortable place to spend time. I especially recommend the potato salad, sesame karaage, and offal plate. The daily menu is extensive and varied. They sometimes have off-menu dishes too, which makes visiting fun.
