A cafe near Tetsugakudo They were serving lunch on weekends too! It was run by a very pleasant female staff member I ordered French toast and iced tea I'd actually considered pasta too, but ended up just having something light

Since dogs are welcome, I visited with my 🐾 companion on Sunday afternoon. I had wine and homemade vegetable sticks, and the lovely atmosphere made for a relaxing afternoon U^ェ^U

This place is run by a foreign man who speaks fluent Japanese. The food and service are both very good, and I'd really like to recommend it… but unfortunately, although it's supposed to be nonsmoking, an elderly regular who smokes often comes in. Even when the owner asks him to stop, he gets angry and refuses to leave, so I feel sorry watching it. You're especially likely to encounter him at night, so be aware.

After visiting the Nakano Museum of History and Folklore, before heading to Tetsugakudo, I found myself drawn into this nostalgic place with a wonderful atmosphere. The French-bread sandwich and homemade sangria were absolutely delicious. Above all, I was moved by the manager's angelic smile and very gracious service.
