We ordered three different types of pizza: Margherita, pepperoni and jalapeño, and four cheese. In my opinion, the Margherita was a little bland, but that's somewhat common with Japanese pizzas. The one with jalapeño sauce was much better because of the spiciness. The four cheese pizza was very good if you like blue cheese. The place was nice and the staff very friendly; it's a good place to satisfy your pizza craving!
View on GoogleAfter failing to get a decent Japanese restaurant nearby (either closed/crowded) i tried this Italian, which is always a safe option overseas, and cannot be happier. The pizza was more than okay and the service/atmosphere was amazing with a lot of local students. This means one thing, the food is good and very affordable (very limited menu, but what they do they cook properly). Good quality for the right price. Keep going, a 5/5 very well deserved.
View on GoogleLocated in a quaint, unassuming alleyway branching out from nakano broadway, this small italian restaurant is perhaps the most underrated food spot from my 2 week holiday in japan. For just 1,100 yen, the spaghetti carbonara tastes authentically italian and homely. Noodle top-up was just 100 yen and extremely generous. The staff were extremely kind to me despite not having a reservation, allowing me to dine anyway without prejudice. They were proactive in their service, refilling my glass whenever it was below the halfway mark. They were cheerful and accommodating of adhoc requests for random condiments. The atmosphere is posh yet unpretentious, the food cheap yet exquisite, and the staff exemplifying true service. Salad was complimentary by the way.
View on GoogleExcellent Moules frites (mussels) - better than most in Europe (and I eat them regularly in Italy and France). Very friendly service and the pizza Margherita D.O.C. was at a great standard. Papa Nakano: some bread with the mussels would be great to dip the great broth even at an extra charge ;)
View on GoogleBLUF: F-N delicious The margarita pizza was fantastic. The boy ate 8 slices. The carbonara was just as good, rich and creamy Little pricey for lunch but we definitely left full. Staff was pleasant and quick. Kid friendly. 100% recommend
