Opinions may be divided about the shop's atmosphere, but for me it was fantastic! The unmistakably cluttered atmosphere of a noodle factory and the bare light bulbs hanging from the ceiling evoke the Showa era. Not only was the soba delicious, but the tempura was freshly fried and delicious too. Next time I will have the hot meat soba.

The soba is delicious. I chose the chili oil broth. It is not spicy. The manager is friendly. The Showa-era atmosphere has character and is lovely.

A follower posted that this place was delicious, so I'd been curious for a while but just couldn't make it here!。゚(゚´ω`゚)゚。 Finally came for lunch! A soba restaurant where you can drink during the day! The outside is amazing...(*´-`) The design is distinctive, so I spotted it right away! Terrace seating? Outside, men and women were happily having drinks together, and there was a couple inside! I was curious about the duck soba, but after lots and lots of indecision, I chose the meat dipping soba with chili oil! I wanted something spicy!(*´꒳`*) The delicious-looking meat soba arrived right away! So much nori! Plenty of noodles too! Dipping the soba into the meat broth, it slips right down! The firm, chewy soba is delicious! The shrimp kakiage is crisp and delicious too!(//∇//) I had no idea there was such an affordable, delicious soba place this close by! Thank you to my follower!╰(*´︶`*)╯♡ Thank you for the meal!

I didn't find it delicious First, the noodles are as thick as udon They're slippery and slimy, as if coated in oil, yet dry and crumbly in the center The sweet and spicy dipping broth isn't bad, but it's unpleasantly lukewarm Probably around 40°C The pickles served like an appetizer are very sour & salty, and might be good with alcohol I also ordered tempura, but the batter was quite hard, more crunchingly hard than crisp I got the impression that this restaurant has abandoned making anything "just right

A day off. A handmade soba restaurant on 薬師あいロード, which connects 早稲田通り to 新井薬師. It was closed for a long time, but apparently has reopened on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays only. Anyway, I ordered the recommended "chili oil soba." It's hard to tell from the photo, but the large plate is piled with chilled, firm soba, pork, scallions, sesame seeds, and shredded nori. The cold dipping broth with chili oil is nicely balanced too. Above all, the handmade soba is delicious. Cooked a little firm, with plenty of bite. I dig in heartily and wildly. It's the so-called 港屋 style, so it'd be nice if you could add a raw egg. Still, the generous portion leaves you thoroughly satisfied.
