Second time there. For its traditional style of the restaurant, it’s best for group celebrations such as year end and new year gatherings. They serve traditional Japanese courses (kaiseki). Both the taste and service are excellent! The location is a little far from the station, but they offer shuttle pickups as drop-offs at their nearest station. Must reserve. Worth the price and meal!

I had no idea there was a Japanese kaiseki restaurant in a place like this, away from the busy downtown areas, but an acquaintance told me about it, and I visited for a family member's birthday. I ordered a course meal when making the reservation. The dishes had a simple composition and light, well-seasoned flavors, but I felt a few more novel dishes would have been nice. There is an additional private-room fee of 300円 per person. Some parts of the building's facilities show their age, but it is within acceptable limits. If they improved the accessibility facilities a little more, I think I could recommend it to elderly people with physical disabilities. Apparently they also offer minibus pickup within 2km, so it seemed convenient for memorial services and various other occasions. I will use it again if another opportunity comes up.

The food and service were very good. However, when there are many guests with children in the next room, it feels quite noisy. The sound of running also carries, so it may be a little unsuitable for those wanting a quiet meal.

I pass near this restaurant when going to Jindaiji, so I had been curious about it for a while. When making the reservation, I asked, “It is for an anniversary, so what would you recommend?” They replied “宝船,” so I ordered it. I called just before 5 in the evening, so I think it was a busy time, but the courteous response made a good impression. I arrived a little before my 12:00 reservation. There was a group booking, and a sign said they were only serving customers with reservations that day. There were koi in the indoor pond, the atmosphere was lovely, and all the staff were clear-spoken and energetic, which was great. Every dish was delicious and felt carefully prepared. I am not a gourmet, so I cannot explain the details, but they did not seem like dishes I could recreate at home. Anyway, “it was delicious”😋 At the end, I was also delighted by their thoughtful little cake, presented with “This is to celebrate your anniversary.” Thank you🙇 I have another favorite restaurant now, so I would like to visit soon with my son and his wife.
