I came for lunch for the first time after having this place saved for years. I finally got around to going and i was so happy i did. I know for small businesses such as this the hours are not always 100% reliable and since it’s off the main roads it’s foot traffic may not be the best, but if you get to come here it’s definitely worth it. The food is tasty and very light in my opinion, so you wont feel very sluggish after eating a lot which is very nice. The prices are good for food that is very fresh and uses ingredients that are definitely not common in japan. And the ambiance is very calm and homey. For people dining alone they provide half portions of the mezze plate and the salads at a half price, which is so convenient and let me try multiple dishes. I will definitely be coming back, this place deserves all its flowers.
View on GoogleFood was absolutely delicious. The mezze plate was great value at ¥1450. Our favourite was the babaghanoush which had the authentic smoky flavour. The falafel was freshly made and crispy. Our only criticism is that the koshari was extremely expensive for such a small portion. We paid ¥2200 expecting it to be twice the size (see photo). The ingredients were rice, macaroni, chickpeas, tomato sauce and fried onions. No extravagant ingredients so we were confused as to why it was this expensive. It was however delicious, but I don’t think I’d pay that again. I’ll definitely be back for the mezze plate and falafel. So many other dishes on the menu to try as well. Reservation recommended as it’s a small place, or arrive at opening time as we did.
View on GoogleSolid Mediterranean lunch. We both had the chicken souvlaki and it was delicious. They also seem to have a large dinner dish selection, so we’ll have to try that and their gelato sometime.
View on GoogleJust finished the appetizer platter and it was delicious. I'm the only person in the restaurant now so I'm seriously considering licking my plate clean. Usually babaganoush and hummus at restaurants is meh but this is really good. We had souvlaki, kofte, and couscous with chicken. Everything was delicious, including the house wine!
