St.Marc Cafe Kichijoji North Exit Ekimae
【About Saint Marc Cafe】 The method of grinding the beans after receiving an order, letting them bloom, and then brewing was first introduced in a self-service-style shop by Saint Marc Cafe. Saint Marc Cafe's "ippai-date" (brewed cup by cup) coffee was crafted with a flavor suited to Japanese tastes in mind, finished as a hotel-style coffee with strong body and acidity. Also, the popular Chococro was born at the Shibuya Inokashira-dori store, was widely featured in various media, and quickly became Saint Marc Cafe's big hit product. 【About our freshly baked bread】 It is said that baking bread in a stone oven produces bread that is fluffy, yet moist and full of volume. That is because…

Good service but the space on the first floor is so small and they put so many tables and chairs that I could hear other customers' rants, gossip. The place is so small that the aisles are too narrow, you have to move the chairs so other customers could pass. If you have such limited space don't make it smaller by putting so many chairs and tables, use the 2nd or 3rd floors for that.
View on GoogleAfter they made chaotic their show window a few years ago exhibiting colorful fake food items, now they changed interior's design; it was a very comfortable stylish wooden interior and now they have a not well defined mix of contemporary styles. The only thing they needed to change was their menu' putting some plant based items and some normal espresso based drinks. But nothing of that. The more they go ahead the worse they became. Sad.
View on GoogleIt's near Kichijoji Station and easy to drop by, so I've used it for takeout several times. The seats inside are a bit close together, so it feels more convenient for a quick visit than for lingering a long time. My favorite is the seasonal limited croissant; whenever a flavor different from the regulars appears, I get curious. New drinks also come out every season, so it's fun choosing combinations with the bread. It's easy to drop in casually, and perfect for a short break or picking up a small gift. The appeal of this shop is that you can find new menu items no matter how many times you visit.
View on GoogleAfter finishing dinner in Kichijoji, I thought "I'd like to relax a bit somewhere" and dropped by the Saint Marc Cafe right in front of the North Exit. A godly 1-minute walk from the station! Being easy to get to is a real help The atmosphere inside It's much bigger than it looks from outside, with seating all the way up to the 3rd floor. This time I used the 2nd floor; besides table seats there are also counter seats, so it's a comfortable atmosphere even if you're on your own. Used the 2nd floor this time From the window at the counter seats you can see Kichijoji's famous "Harmonica Yokocho" right there, making it the best special seat for zoning out while people-watching. Even though it's in front of the station, it's surprisingly not noisy and fairly quiet, which is another plus. Lots of people were reading or working. This time's order • Royal Milk Tea Since it was after a meal, its gentle sweetness was soothing.
View on GoogleI used the Saint Marc Cafe right by Kichijoji Station for lunch and to get some work done. It's close to the station with good access, and the calm atmosphere inside lets you relax. For lunch I chose freshly baked bread, and I was happy that the staff carefully warmed it up for me. I ordered an iced coffee and opened my laptop to work. There's Wi-Fi and seats with power outlets, so I could concentrate without worrying about the time. The distance between neighboring seats is just right, making it a perfect environment for both working and taking a break. I also recommend it for a quick meeting or lunch on your own.
