I was wandering around Harmonica Yococko in Kichijoji when I stumbled into this little shop with a girl in the window making hand made pasta. Despite it was a Thursday morning around 11:30 it was full of people so I decided to try it. They only serve linguine with 7/8 different types of sauce . They have a meat sauce (Bolognese), a sauce with aubergine (similar to Norma sauce from what I could see), Carbonara and a white sauce made with cod roe, sea urchins and squid. Differently from what I read in some previous review the place now have an English menu! I had the fish pasta that came topped with little stripes of Japanese Nori seaweed and lemon to squeeze on top. First of all it was perfectly cooked “al dente”, the sauce was creamy, silky and very delicate with a slight spicy kick at the end. I’m Italian and I grew up eating pasta but this was unbelievably good, I was shocked!! Every pasta dish comes with a side portion of salad. What a nice little gem this place is, please give it a go if you are in the area. I hope you find this review helpful and if you go to Spakichi please tag me in your Instagram posts or stories @danielegmaestri

Restaurant offers pasta in Japanese style. Good fusion dishes never asks me disappointed in Japan. Although it is a small fast food store but all pasta are freshly made in an open kitchen upon order made. Can tell the chefs cook in heart. English menu available.

In this small street hides the best pasta that you can eat in Tokyo. Both red and white sauces were superb, the ingredients are high quality and the pasta itself was amazing. Take your time and enjoy the pasta, but don't stay too long because there is always a line ;)

Very fresh pasta with a Japanese touch. One of the best pasta plates I've ever had. Definitely try the meat sauce.
