Had an amazing experience here with my family. Rich flavorful curries balanced with refreshing pickled side dishes and veggies. After stopping in on a hot and humid day, the food and drinks (home made mint soda!) really hit the spot. 100% worth the wait.

The curry of Shifuku Shokudo is absolutely mind blowing. It was definitely worth the wait and queue. Rice are so warm and juicy and curry taste made it even better. Do check them out if you visit them.

Chicken Curry & Pork Vindaloo 🍗🐷🥘@shifukushokudo Newly opened on 15th October in Kichijoji, Shifuku Shokudo is a charming little restaurant which offers home-cooked food with daily set meals and curry plates. 🍽 Renovated from an older building, the space is compact and cozy, with four counter seats facing the kitchen, and five tables seating another 10 people. The whole interior has a home-made feel to it, and the staff were also very warm, welcoming and happy to answer any questions about the menu. 🧑🏻‍🍳 The daily meal was ginger pork, but being a chilly day I was in the mood for curry so went for the choice of 2 curries on one plate. 🍛 The chicken curry has a coconut flavor, and being marinated in yoghurt has a creamy but gentle touch with rich aftertaste. Chicken meat was cut into smaller pieces and were tender and delicious. Awesome curry. We asked for the not spicy one and it was delicious. Exceeded our expectations!

Very delicious food with good atmosphere. The taste was unique and interesting! Tried the spiced lemon sour with the "blissful" シフク curry. Was very impressed!
