View on GoogleLong ago, I loved the tendon At a local tempura shop That somehow never had customers and went out of business‥ Seeing the tendon here looking just like that one I visited that very day. Last orders are at 8:30 But I slipped in at 24 minutes past. They had closed by 28 minutes past. That was close‥ Now‥ the tendon looked exactly as it did in the photo. And tasted as good as it looked! The tanuki soba in the set had delicious broth But the soba itself was somewhat dry and crumbly‥ reserving judgment. Next time, just the tendon. Thank you for the meal.
View on Google①Large kamo seiro w/switch to nihachi soba→②Tendon set (shrimp tempura rice bowl and large kake soba) ①【Large kamo seiro w/switch to nihachi soba】 Visited this popular soba restaurant that always has a queue for lunch on a day off, and ordered a large nihachi kamo seiro. The kamo seiro is a set of authentic, traditional nihachi soba on a seiro tray, dipping sauce with plenty of duck and green onion, and white green onion. Enjoying fragrant soba with dipping sauce richly infused with duck umami. Truly delicious. The duck eaten with green onion is delicious too. Partway through, I changed the flavor with shichimi togarashi, then finished by mixing the sauce with cloudy white soba cooking water. The flowers in the vase decorating the restaurant are beautiful too. ②【Return visit in June 2026=Tendon set with large soba 1705円】 Visited at lunchtime on a chilly weekday with light rain and a temperature of 20℃. At this restaurant, which always displays beautiful flowers in a vase, I ordered the tendon set with a large kake soba (1705円). The set includes a bowl with 2 freshly fried shrimp tempura and rice brought together by a rich sweet-savory sauce, kake soba topped with tempura crumbs & radish sprouts, green onion, and pickles. Using the accompanying wooden spoon, I cut the shrimp tempura into bite-size pieces and ate it with the rice. I also changed the soba's flavor with shichimi togarashi, then requested soba cooking water and a soba cup to finish with diluted broth. As expected, both the tendon and kake soba at a proper soba restaurant are truly delicious. Take the numbered ticket given when seated to the register to pay. Card payment accepted.
View on GoogleI had kamo nanban. I couldn't really taste the dashi. Since it's in front of the station, people come and go constantly, and it's quite noisy inside, so you can't have a relaxed meal. The staff looked busy too, so I hesitated to ask for soba cooking water. As the posted notice says, this restaurant does not accept customers with children. I gave the cashier ten thousand yen, but they mistook it for one thousand yen. I understand they're busy, but I'd like them to be more careful.
