We'd been having such a nice time, but the man who seemed to be the proprietor or owner treated us terribly. We came looking forward to the food at this long-established place, but that became the least of our concerns… The okonomiyaki ingredients also took a long time to arrive. The interior was old, and several hygiene issues bothered me…(^^;; I'll never go again.

An older man who doesn't seem typical of 吉祥寺 serves okonomiyaki eaten with delicious dashi in a Showa-style interior. Prices are generally on the high side, but the atmosphere is satisfying. Recommended for groups without girls.

The mixed okonomiyaki was delicious, and the locally grown edamame and buttered corn were wonderful too. The kind elderly woman and man were lovely as well.

You grill it yourself. It has a relaxed atmosphere, and smoking is allowed.
