Not the best sushi you can have but very good price for a good quality. At lunch, chirashi sushi at 880yens, and sushi menu up to 2200yens (特上にぎり).

I visited around 11:30 on a weekday and got in immediately without waiting. Being on the 2nd floor of a building, it has the feel of a little hidden gem where you can enjoy a relaxed meal. 🍣 Lunch nigiri 1,320円 (9 pieces of nigiri, a small side dish, and fish trimmings soup) The vinegar aroma was quite strong while they were making the sushi, so I wondered if the rice would be heavily vinegared. But when I tasted it, that was not the case at all; it was very refined, balanced, and delicious. The squid nigiri particularly impressed me. It had lengthwise cuts, letting you enjoy both its sticky tenderness and firm bite, which was fantastic. It is close to the station, but being on the 2nd floor makes it a little inconspicuous, so it might be a hidden gem. It seems like a handy place for a casual, delicious sushi lunch.

Close to the station and easy to access, I was able to enjoy sushi in a relaxed atmosphere. Its convenient location, a 3-minute walk from Kichijoji Station's Park Exit, is another welcome point. Inside, there are both counter and table seats, with soft light coming through the windows and an atmosphere that feels approachable even on a first visit. Every piece of nigiri I had was fresh, and both the thickness of the toppings and their melt-in-the-mouth texture were highly satisfying. The set's side dishes were carefully prepared too, making me feel I was ‘enjoying the whole space, not just the sushi.’ Considering what is included, the prices offer good value, and I felt this was a place for a casual meal alone or a meal with someone important to you. The staff were also kind, letting me rediscover the pleasure of eating sushi. It is a recommended sushi restaurant in the Kichijoji area that makes me want to sit at the counter and have sushi made for me next time.

Since it was nearby, I thought I should try it at least once and reserved for 2 people in the evening. Around 6, people who seemed to be regulars started arriving, and the owner and staff suddenly became friendly while treating us coldly. I felt it was a place for regulars. I will never go again. Before even considering the food quality, I question their conduct as a business serving customers.
