One of the best ramens I ever had. I recommend the 大山家SP ラメン. They start with an ieke broth but add an egg on top which lightens up the heavy tonkatsu. The cabbage although unusual, goes well with it.

The world's best ramen is located in Kanazawa (officially confirmed) called Black Tayga. We have been shocked how ramen can taste. Oyamaya comes second place no questions asked. We came back 4 years after (covid hit hard) and have been amazed again, how good our memories of Oyamaya actually was. Top Class Broth. Period.

Ramen Oyamaya serves a more thick and dirty style of ramen. It’s oily, fatty and will definitely make you feel heavier walking out than you did coming in. Overall, it’s good ramen and while I may not necessarily need to come back here, it’s not bad. If I were in the area again, there’s a 50/50 chance of me coming back.

Excellent service with food to match. What a great experience my family and I had. The young man there helped us order and spoke very clear English I am very happy.

Best ramen in this neighborhood 😋 soup is very good. Taste extra delicious with a bowl of rice dipping in the soup.
