Lumiere
Curries, cakes & seasonal shaved ice desserts are served in this eclectic destination.
We are cafe Lumiere, a small hideaway cafe a 30-second walk from Kichijoji’s Park Exit. We specialize in shaved ice and specialty coffee, with our flaming shaved ice “焼き氷” a popular favorite. The stylish accessories filling the interior create a space you can’t help wanting to photograph. We also offer dishes unique to our cafe, including our eye-catching new specialty “サラダフルーツケーキ” and “夢のドーナッツタワー”. We flexibly accommodate different occasions, including year-end parties, New Year parties, drinking gatherings, and girls’ get-togethers. The cafe is fully equipped with a projector, microphones, sound equipment, strobes, and even a Cheki camera, making it ideal for live events and presentations. Plus, when you book a course, a dessert plate with a message…

What a charming hidden gem! My favourite was the white snow daifuku shaved ice (I’m a real red bean fan), and the little bear brown sugar soy latte was just adorable. Proper strong hot lemon tea – perked me right up. Thanks for the lovely welcome!
View on GoogleThe atmosphere of this place is heartwarming and lovely. The fired shaved ice is so delicious! We had the milk tea flavor. And the cake is good too. Latte with latte art with cute animal. We enjoyed resting here after the walk of Inogashira park. Will recommend the fired shaved ice!
View on GoogleThe cream in this cinnamon coffee felt like pure luxury. In the store there is light music playing and customers are surrounded by a cottage core vibe. I think the aesthetic fed us well but of course everything we ordered was delicious. (We also had the chocolate cake, not pictured yet.) Of course, the shaved ice was phenomenal! The many textures and flavors paired with the toppings meant there was no room for boredom while eating. I did get impatient and begin eating before the staff set the kakigori on fire. They were waiting for my brother and i was confused on if my order was one that got set on fire. That being said, the menu can be a little confusing if your Japanese isn’t good but what ever you order is likely to be delicious, so take the chance. Thank you for the meal.
View on GoogleFavourite cafe in Tokyo. *cash needed* The atmosphere of the cafe is like a fairy woods cottage with lots of sweet children’s books and figurines around. The kakigori is very special. The flaming kakigori is very unique and delicious but I also Iike their seasonal specials best. I always make the journey here when in Japan. Translation tip the menu is in Japanese through the QR code. If your phone does not translate & you have someone with you use Google translate camera feature on their phone with your phone.
View on GoogleI had an amazing experience! The atmosphere was very cozy and welcoming, and the service was very friendly. The menus have little story books and characters to go with the theme of the cafe, it is very endearing. The food is so delicious, I am planning on coming back again soon!
