A 7-minute walk from Kichijoji Station! Kushiage and kushikatsu specialist 【串あげ 串吉 吉祥寺】. We use 100% Italian sunflower oil! Sunflower oil is a plant-based oil with zero cholesterol. This lets you enjoy delicious kushiage without an oily feel. We carefully select seasonal ingredients throughout the four seasons and use fresh breadcrumbs for a light texture. We always offer 30 varieties, starting at 120円 per skewer. Our frying specialist cooks each skewer individually. With a stylish interior and private rooms, we’re also recommended for dates and banquets. Our most popular choice is the 『おまかせ』 course! We fry and serve the chef’s selections in sequence from about thirty carefully chosen seasonal and classic ingredients…

It was very delicious. So this is what good kushiage is like. Perhaps it’s lightly fried—it doesn’t feel heavy. There are plenty of alcoholic drink options too, and I’ll go again.

A delicious kushiage place picked by my friend!! It’s a cozy little basement restaurant with a lovely atmosphere! I had the omakase, and the crisp, lightly fried kushiage was so irresistibly delicious that I ate about 20 skewers. I found a few of the ingredients a bit underwhelming, but overall it was good.

I love kushiage and have it from time to time. After hearing that the kushiage at 串吉 was delicious, I made a reservation and visited with a friend. Kichijoji is in the opposite direction from my workplace, so I rarely go there, but the kushiage was so delicious it was worth making the trip. Eating lots of fried food usually leaves my stomach feeling heavy, but the kushiage at 串吉 was light, with a thin coating of course. We were ordering whatever we liked, and before I knew it, I seemed to have eaten quite a lot of skewers〰️(^^; The simmered tomato served as a palate cleanser was delicious too. As for the interior, I don’t like noisy places, but the atmosphere here felt upscale and suited my taste. The owner also served us courteously, and the hospitality was excellent. I’d like to go back for more delicious kushiage.

A stylish kushiage restaurant. You can eat at the counter too. The kushiage with its thin, crispy coating is exceptional. My recommendations are the asparagus and Camembert cheese. It’s a grown-up kushiage spot where the skewers pair beautifully with bubbly drinks.

Incredibly delicious kushikatsu! Completely different from chain restaurants—every skewer reflects Kubota’s dedication, and you can feel his soul in it too! A grown-up spot that’s also recommended for dates!
