The food tastes incredibly good. But the attitude of the female staff member with blond braids? Or rather, how she treats customers seems wrong. Even though I'd put my meal ticket on the table, after the meal she sharply told me, next time hand over your ticket first!! But I did put it out? And if she couldn't see it, she could just say so and I'd hand it over… Other staff say, I'll take this, when it's on the table, and if we've forgotten to put it out, they say, I'll take your ticket first. Isn't that normal? Are we supposed to take the initiative and hand it over ourselves? That's fine, but do we get snapped at otherwise??? It's scary😨 Also, I called out while she was clearing plates, and she said yes, so I started ordering, but she glared at me as if to say, I can't take notes when you tell me all that… haha I was just like, huh? Shocking and scary. Can't she say, please wait a moment? I said, oh, sorry, later is fine, but she didn't respond and went off to clear the plates. The food is genuinely delicious, but many times I've decided against eating there because that blond staff member was there. The other staff and manager are friendly and nice, and put me at ease. Why does the manager allow this service? Is she his daughter? Her treatment is so awful it makes me wonder things like that. I also used to work in restaurant customer service, and I think it's absolutely unacceptable. It leaves me feeling extremely unpleasant.

For lunch I always have the sashimi set and natto, but today I'm having the ginger pork set. You can't go wrong with any of the flavors, but during the lunch rush the owner doesn't like cooking grilled dishes, so you can't order the ginger pork set! lol

I visited with a friend, just the two of us. The atmosphere is nice, and all the staff are kind. They have plenty of unusual items like chochin and white liver, and even regular dishes have creative touches, like potato salad with iburigakko and edamame and grilled rice balls with Calpis butter. It made me want to come back!

My impression was quite different from the other comments. Since there were no photos, I asked about the menu items, but they just went silent, "...". And although the sign said daytime drinking available!, when I actually ordered, they curtly said, only until this time, and handed me the menu, so I didn't really enjoy the meal. I ordered a rice bowl for lunch, but there was lots of rice and not much of the main topping, so honestly I felt I could go elsewhere for this price. Also, although it said complimentary coffee and tea, none was offered.

Ordered the sashimi lunch. The rice was well cooked and the fish quite fresh, and the owner has a service-minded attentiveness to small details. He also explains the seasonal fish, which is reassuring for anyone curious about what's included. Since it's mainly a nighttime drinking spot, I suspect the lunch menu has a high ingredient-cost ratio and thin margins.
