Crikey! Kinda louche. Lively soft lighting, wood panels - I’m talking the second floor. Excellent martinis. Just the vibe for our first night in Kichijoji. Bill Evans, Miles … Norah Jones playing, yeah. Nice. Commendation for the single wait staff. Great work! Man, if I did this in my hometown, I’d be near broke. Unfair? Well, maybe. What a pleasure though.
View on GoogleWhat a cool, sophisticated atmosphere. The coolest and most chill bar I've ever been to in my entire life.
View on GoogleI visited on a holiday evening, but maybe because it's a bit of a hideaway, it was quiet and I could drink slowly and peacefully. Not only the drinks but also the french fries I ordered as a snack were delicious. The interior was elaborate and lovely too.
View on GoogleQuietly tucked away on the third floor Quite a lot of customers get drawn into the second floor, so if you like a strong, slightly faded antique feel, you can drink quietly and calmly in a spacious room
View on Google【Curry Doria Set/1,200 yen】at 2023/01 Came by for the first time in a while. It's a sister shop of Meg, run by a JAZZ critic also based in Kichijoji, and More on the second floor is part of the same group too. The volume isn't turned up very high, but it's a place where you can listen to Jazz CDs. At lunchtime there are set menus with salad and a drink, all currently 1,200 yen. I noticed they had Lee Wiley's Night in Manhattan LP on display, which I love, and it made me happy. Lunch rating = 3.7 (Old log) at 2018/9 A JAZZ kissa–style café in a back alley next to Coppice at Kichijoji North Exit. It's on the third floor, so I think the place is hard to notice. Also, you have to climb steep stairs, so it feels like the kind of place you might end up not visiting. Inside, JAZZ plays as background music, and there's a full lineup of lunch set menus. Lunch rating = 3.5
