Place is quiet and lovely. The sushi is amazing and priced reasonably. Service is top notch. Definitely would recommend!

View on Google【If you want to eat "properly delicious sushi" in Kichijoji, this is the place🍣】 Each piece carefully hand-pressed across the counter. Whether for lunch or dinner, **Yoshicho (寿兆)**, where you can calmly enjoy authentic sushi, is a renowned spot known to those in the know. The taisho's (head chef's) kind hospitality and meticulous work. The freshness of the neta and the crispness of the shari are outstanding, unpretentious, yet high-quality. 📍3-minute walk from the North Exit of Kichijoji Station 🍣A Japanese-style space for sushi and kappo cuisine 💰Both courses and à la carte are highly satisfying 👘A calm spot popular with regulars too Perfect for your "non-conveyor-belt sushi" debut🍶
View on GoogleI've been a fan since they were in Kichijoji Isetan. I visited after a long time and was moved that it was as delicious as ever. The neta of course, but the shari has an indescribable texture and umami that conveyor-belt sushi can't imitate. Lunch is affordable and I recommend it too, but my top pick is having the taisho's recommendations at the counter! It's high-end sushi, yet the value for money is way too good. The okami-san (proprietress) is always gentle in manner too, making it a soothing space.
View on Google【Matsu-zushi/1,650 yen】at 2022/7 Came in for lunch. Delicious sushi with great value for money, as always. Lunch rating = 4.2 (Past log) A sushi restaurant on the first floor of a building facing an alley partway along the shopping street by the North Exit of Kichijoji Station. Entering through the stylish front entrance, the counter seats and kitchen are right ahead, and on the left there appear to be about four tables. The lunch nigiri set offers great value and is recommended. The set comes with chawanmushi and miso soup; the sushi has good neta, and the shari is on the small side but tasty. Lunch rating = 4.0
