I prefer a saxophone in my kitchen, but this place was okay
View on GoogleVisited after noon. There were no customers, so I was shown straight to the 2nd floor! The food and service are average. Smoking is allowed, so that might be a plus!
View on GoogleThe very essence of a drinking spot in ハーモニカ横丁 You are more likely to enjoy a quiet drink on the top floor Prices are on the steep side
View on GoogleWe had jingisukan at our first stop, then decided to drink in ハモニカ横丁 for our second. As soon as we entered, a lady outside a shop called out to us. She said there was a shaggy-looking room inside designed by 隈研吾. Intrigued, we went in, and sure enough, there was a shaggy interior made from recycled LAN cables. The aji fry was large and thick, well seasoned with olive oil and something else, and the pistachios were nicely salty too—both encouraged more drinking. After our drinks, we sat on the balcony of an affiliated establishment and looked down over ハモニカ横丁. It has a somewhat exotic atmosphere, similar to 新宿's 思い出横丁 (commonly called しょんべん横丁). The staff were courteous too, and I was very satisfied.
View on GoogleVisited around 19:00 on a weekday. There were still quite a few vacancies in ハーモニカ横丁. A staff member inviting people in told us there were terrace seats available on the 3rd floor, so we headed up. Since it was evening, the terrace atmosphere was fantastic. The 3rd-floor seats filled up in about 30 minutes. We ordered a highball, alcohol, and basil-fried eggplant, and everything was delicious!!
