Went at 11:30 on a weekday and got in without lining up. I was the first customer of the day. Ordered the toriten yuzu kosho bukkake for 950 yen. AM radio is playing inside. Bowl arrived at 11:44. It takes about 12–13 minutes to be served. The bowl is smallish and the portion isn't big. If you eat a lot, I think you should get a large serving or, since they have onigiri and such, order something extra. Overall, the look and taste of the udon, dashi, and toriten reminded me of Oniyanma. At Oniyanma you have to be lucky to get freshly fried tempura, but this shop seems to always serve it freshly fried. Being freshly fried, the toriten was really tasty. Even tastier with lots of shichimi. Left at 11:51. 2 customers inside. No line outside. Thanks for the meal.
View on GoogleMay 2026, visited on a weekday at 13:20 No wait Cold tempura udon 980 yen Shrimp, eggplant, pumpkin The cold udon is quite straightforward. The surface is lightly smooth, but it's not the type where strong chewiness or wheat aroma stands out; it prioritizes being easy to eat for everyone. The dashi flavor is mild, and with the coldness, the aftertaste is light. The temperature was just right for lunch on a hot day. The tempura is shrimp, eggplant, and pumpkin. The batter is a bit hard. Less "crispy" and more of a "crunch" when you bite. Easy to walk into even for a woman alone. Beginner-friendly. —— Thanks for the meal. To eat is to live.
View on GoogleThe sweet potato tempura was shockingly good. Fluffy, crispy, moist? Every texture was at its peak — total wasshoi wasshoi festival vibes. The person I ate with was moved too. I'd love to go again. Thanks for the meal!
View on GoogleThey gave us very courteous service. Visited March 19, 2026 at 11:45; there were still empty seats, but it was full by 12:00. The udon had a firm bite and was delicious!! The toriten was freshly fried and crispy too, a perfect match with yuzu kosho! I chose salmon for the onigiri. The aroma of the nori and the fluffy rice were exquisite too ✨ Toriten yuzu kosho udon 950 yen Lunch set (salad, onigiri) 270 yen
View on GoogleOrdered the chikuten bukkake (cold) for 900 yen. Two impressive chikuwa tempura on top, and a generous amount of udon. The chikuwa tempura and the sauce were really tasty, but the udon itself, rather than being chewy, was hard with an undercooked core, and that was the one thing that bothered me. Also, I could see in the kitchen right in front of me that the owner was speaking to a part-timer in a rather harsh tone, which was awkward.
