ど韓Dokan Korean Restaurant
Just 1 minute on foot from the station! Serving "aged" samgyeopsal and chijimi "infused with beef broth"! An authentic Korean restaurant run by a Korean owner, with a chef who holds a Korean cuisine cooking license. With the aim of having as many customers as possible enjoy samgyeopsal, we have continued to pursue delicious "samgyeopsal" since opening in 2009. We also offer many other popular dishes, such as 美桜鶏 chicken dakhanmari and seafood chijimi infused with beef broth.

I have eaten here 3 times in 3 years. My experience: the all you can eat options are relatively plentiful in amount that you get, but boring. Rather unsavory frozen kalbi, and limited veggies. Meanwhile, the a la carte menu allows for variety and a more authentic experience. I would go a la carte event hough it's pricier. The shop entrance can be tough to spot if you're not looking up. There's a huge DOKAN sign on the second floor, but if you're looking eye level, the small entrance is hard to notice. In the end, I will be back as I like the family owned feeling Dokan provides in contrast to chain stores. Calling for a reservation made it easy.
View on GoogleIt's hard for me to rate Korean restaurants in Japan because they're so different from LA and Seoul. Like for example, Korean restaurants usually serve side dishes (or at least kimchi) for free with your entrees, but places like here don't seem to do that. But regardless, the samgyetang I ordered was great, probably the best version I've had so far in Tokyo. Just a little bit on the pricier end.
View on GoogleThe food is really really good and the owner of the store is so nice
